Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for Kings, Annapolis and Digby counties, with temperatures expected to reach the mid-30s. “A hot and humid airmass will settle over the region for the coming week,” reads the national forecaster’s warning. “Little relief is expected at night with elevated overnight temperatures.” Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be the hottest days in those areas, with humidity making it “feel like” the high 30s. While Halifax is not under the current warning, that could change as the municipality is expected to see hot weather this week too. Temperatures are expected to start cooling off slightly on Thursday and Friday, with some rain in the forecast for late in the week as well. While many enjoy the hot summer weather, it’s not without risks. Environment Canada says to check in with people you know who may be at a higher risk of heat-related illness, like older adults. “Watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others,” wrote the national forecaster. “Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue. Stop your activity and drink water.” 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Halifax council to ask Nova Scotia for consultation on strong-mayor powers next post You may also like Police involved in power pole crash while chasing... 28 أبريل، 2026 Three drivers in HRM charged with stunting 2026 Manitoba man killed in Shubenacadie car crash 27 أبريل، 2026 Prime Minister Mark Carney announces Canada’s 1st sovereign... 27 أبريل، 2026 Power restored after thousands in the dark in...
