Heat warning issued for Halifax and much of the mainland

by admin

CITYnews halifax\ By Mark Hodgins

It’s going to be very warm in much of Nova Scotia over the next couple of days.

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for most of the mainland, with temperatures expected to reach or exceed 30 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday.

The national forecaster says it will feel closer to 35 with the humidex.

It will be a bit cooler closer to the coast, while those inland will feel the most heat.

People are being reminded to drink lots of water, even before you feel thirsty, and people working outdoors should take regular breaks in a cool place.
