Halifax Transit bus went off the road with passengers; HRP investigating

Police are investigating an incident where a Halifax Transit bus went off the road on Friday morning.

At roughly 6:40 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Albert Walker Drive and Dunbrack Street where the bus was resting in the ditch.

Officials said there were passengers on the bus at the time but there were no injuries reported.

According to HRP, they were transferred to a different bus and police believe weather was a factor in the incident.
