The municipality has announced it plans to suspend all Halifax Transit service, including buses, ferries and Access-a-Bus, as of 1 p.m. Saturday in advance of an expected freeze. A rainfall warning is in effect for Halifax, calling for heavy rain overnight into Saturday. Temperatures are then forecast to plummet on Saturday afternoon and Environment Canada says roads, sidewalks and other surfaces could quickly freeze. Halifax Transit said it would provide an update by 10 a.m. Saturday if there is any change to the timeline for suspension of services. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Police arrest youths following disturbance at Halifax West High School next post Canada sanctions 10 more people in Russia over war with Ukraine You may also like CITYnews halifax: Stop work order issued after Fairview... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Halifax urging good ‘etiquette’ ahead... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Child behind emergency alert found... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Union lifts strike action at... 5 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: جهود استقطاب الأطباء بدأت تؤتي... 5 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي : إلغاء حفلات بْروييل في... 5 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: مصاهر الألومنيوم الكندية تتجاوز أزمة... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Crews respond to report of crane... 4 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax / Nova Scotia continues to draw... 4 يونيو، 2026 CITYnewshalifax : Federal government announces mining workforce alliance... 4 يونيو، 2026
