Halifax Public Libraries hosting drop-in vaccine clinics at several branches

Nova Scotia Health staff will be at several locations throughout the Halifax area this month

Halifax Public Libraries will be hosting several drop-in vaccine clinics  throughout the municipality this month.

Nova Scotia Health will at the following locations to administer the Pfizer vaccine to anyone 12 and up who needs a first or second dose:

Keshen Goodman Public Library
330 Lacewood Drive, Halifax
Arabic interpreter on-site, free parking available.
Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Captain William Spry Public Library
16 Sussex Street, Halifax
Arabic interpreter on-site, free parking available.
Monday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tantallon Public Library
3646 Hammonds Plains Road, Upper Tantallon
Free parking available.
Monday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Halifax Central Library
5440 Spring Garden Road, Halifax
Paid underground parking or street parking.
Tuesday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sackville Public Library
636 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville
Free parking available.
Tuesday, October 19 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

JD Shatford Public Library
10353 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Hubbards
Free parking available.
Monday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Woodlawn Public Library
32 Eisener Boulevard, Dartmouth
Free parking available.
Wednesday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Halifax North Memorial Library
2285 Gottingen Street, Halifax
Street parking.
Wednesday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those dropping by will be asked for their health card number and an ID.

“For those with mobility challenges, special needs, and/or have significant anxiety about needles, please notify clinic team members on site. Having this information helps the clinic team better prepare to offer support,” said Nova Scotia Health in a news release. “These sites are wheelchair accessible.”
