Around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 26, the suspect reportedly used a rock to smash a glass door a Trinity Jewelers on Quinpool Rd. The store was closed at the time, and nothing was stolen. Later in the day just before 1 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at a Jay’s Convenience Barn at Longard Plaza. Staff reported that a man armed with a knife threatened them and demanded money and cigarettes before fleeing on foot. The suspect is said to be a white man in his 30’s or 40’s, standing about 5’10” with a heavy build.
