Regional police are investigating a bank robbery that took place in Halifax earlier this week.

On Monday at roughly 4:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Bank of Montreal on Mumford Road.

Police said a man entered the bank, threatened the teller with a weapon and fled with cash.

HRP has not been able to find him and there were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 5’8″-5’11” tall , roughly 40-years-old, medium build, wearing a blue flannel jacket, and black jogging pants.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to contact HRP or Crime Stoppers.
