After receiving numerous reports of icy roads throughout the region, police are asking people to allow extra time for their morning commute due to the conditions. They say icy roads often warrant a significantly slower speed than what is posted and when roads are slippery, a vehicle’s stopping distance increases so drivers should make extra space between themselves and other drivers. As well, police say drivers should appraoch red lights or stop signs with caution and keep a watchful eye out for other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Eastern Canada to see ‘significant’ snow and heavy winds, Environment Canada says next post هل حررت آلة العود الأغنية العربية من إيقاعها الغربي؟ You may also like المؤسسات الصغيرة تواجه إلغاء أو تأجيل طلبيات جراء... 13 فبراير، 2025 N.S. woman awarded damages after criminal case dropped... 13 فبراير، 2025 مسؤول أميركي يقول إنّ كلام ترامب عن الولاية... 13 فبراير، 2025 Freezing rain expected for Halifax; schools dismissing students... 13 فبراير، 2025 Health care, housing, highways: Priorities in the provincial... 13 فبراير، 2025 Freezing rain warning in effect for HRM, HRCE... 13 فبراير، 2025 Mental health care for rural Black people in... 13 فبراير، 2025 Nova Scotia announces plans for two new schools... 13 فبراير، 2025 Nova Scotia Legislature set to resume with calls... 13 فبراير، 2025 بلير لا يرى ’’تهديداً حقيقياً‘‘ في كلام ترامب... 12 فبراير، 2025
