On Dec. 9, 1955, at roughly 2 a.m., police responded to a report from a taxi driver about a delivery van parked in an unusual manner on Acadia and Roome streets. Police said Michael Leo Resk was found in the back of the van. He was dead due to gunshot wounds. According to HRP, investigators believe he left his home on Poplar Street to go to his store on Gottingen Street and lock up for the night. The case remains unsolved 70 years later and police are asking anyone with information, who has not already spoken to police, to come forward. Police went on to say what may seem like an insignificant detail could be the key to progressing the investigation into Michael’s murder. This case is also part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program which offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for specified major unsolved crimes. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Peace By Chocolate family’s story turning into animated film next post بنك كندا يُبقي معدل الفائدة الأساسي عند مستوى 2,25% You may also like RCI: Israël, le Liban et les États-Unis annoncent... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Carney se justifie d’avoir évité de mentionner... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: L’Ontario n’augmentera pas le nombre limite de... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Why Europe can’t air condition its way... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Rescue workers in Venezuela race to free... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Iran and Egypt will headline Seattle’s ’Pride... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: B.C. police issue arrest warrant for former... 28 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: كندا وتركيا تدرسان إمكانية التعاون... 28 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: New technology that unifies harbour activity... 27 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Additional charge added for N.S.... 27 يونيو، 2026
