Nova Scotians are waking up to a break at the pump this morning.

At midnight, the provincial regulator lowered the price of self-serve regular gasoline by $5.1 cents to $161.7 cents per litre.

However, in its weekly adjustment, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board pushed diesel prices up by $3.2 cents to $201.3 overnight.

This time last year, we were paying $1.65 for gas, and $2.27 for diesel.
