In Nova Scotia, it will cost more to fill up your tank after the provincial fuels regulator raised the price for both gasoline and diesel on Friday morning.

The Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board (UARB) raised the gasoline price by 2.7 cents to a new minimum of 158.4.

Diesel prices were also increased, with the price rising by 0.6 cents to 172.5.

A year ago, Nova Scotians paid 1.62 for gasoline and 1.99 for diesel.
