Parts of eastern Nova Scotia including HRM were under a freezing rain warning in the morning of Thursday December 21st StockPhoto by Caden Nickel CANADAHALIFAX news Freezing rain warning ended for HRM by admin 21 ديسمبر، 2023 written by admin 21 ديسمبر، 2023 574 CITYnews halifax / By Dan Ahlstrand It doesn’t seem like Mother Nature is done with Nova Scotia just yet. Environment Canada had issued a freezing rain warning for parts of mainland Nova Scotia and western Cape Breton on Thursday morning, warning of freezing rain and ice pellets in the morning. The national forecaster lifted the warning just before 8:00 a.m. but said to expect flurries before noon, with scattered flurries possible throughout the day. Strong winds were also expected, with gusts to 80 km/h possible. That wind and cold overnight temperatures could make it feel like minus 15 on Thursday night. Environment Canada says freezing rain conditions can cause surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots to become icy and slippery. Forecasters said the region would remain cloudy through Thursday night and for most of the day Friday with some partial clearing possible on Saturday. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post أكثر من 72 ألف قتيل ومصاب في غزة ووساطة القاهرة تجدد الآمال بهدنة next post N.S. government offers one-time grant to ease cost of textbooks for post-secondary students You may also like ترامب يصعّد حربه التجارية على كندا: الصلب والألومنيوم... 12 مارس، 2025 أونتاريو تفرض رسماً بنسبة 25% على الكهرباء إلى... 10 مارس، 2025 China tariff on Canadian seafood adds more volatility... 10 مارس، 2025 Province implements maximum setbacks for wind turbines 10 مارس، 2025 ‘How did we survive?’ What Canadians recall —... 10 مارس، 2025 Emera Oval set to close for season this... 10 مارس، 2025 Nova Scotians warned about false heat pump rebate... 10 مارس، 2025 Carney captured 85.9% of the vote, sweeping Liberal... 10 مارس، 2025 Opposition criticizes delay in N.S. funding for transition... 10 مارس، 2025 سلسلة من التدابير لِدعم الشركات الكندية لمواجهة الرسوم... 8 مارس، 2025
