A firearm was stolen from a vehicle during a rash of break-ins in Halifax’s north end.

Early Monday morning, Halifax Regional Police were told a number of vehicles were damaged when they were broken into on Highland Avenue.

A hunting rifle and ammunition were stolen from one of them.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
