Lucy Cable-Munroe and Adalind Gaul died after the boat they were in with a 45-year-old man and another child overturned around 4:56 p.m. on Oct. 18. The man and the other child had non-life-threatening injuries when rescuers pulled them from the lake. Officials used a search and rescue helicopter to find the boaters and transport them to hospital. Cable-Munroe and Gaul died as a result of their injuries. Also nicknamed Juice, Cable-Munroe is being remembered as a “sweet, kind, polite little ‘old soul.’” Related: 2 children are dead after a boat overturned in Nova Scotia’s Lake Rossignol “With a fashion sense at 10, that most 20-somethings would only dream of having. She had a sparkle about her that lit up every room she entered… in every way, taking after her mother, Becky,” the fundraiser set up by Shelly Juurlink reads. Cable-Munroe’s father, Troy, and self-proclaimed “girl dad” loves caring for his daughters, the GoFundMe post said. (Left) Lucy Cable-Munroe, mother Becky, father Troy and little sister Poppy. (GoFundMe) “Luce was a great role model for her little sister, Poppy, who she loved dearly. She was a deeply loyal friend, to those who were lucky enough to know her pleasant soul.” Gaul is being remembered by her family as a “little spitfire.” “Full of energy, laughter and love,” writes Bethany MacDonald in the fundraiser. “She adored biking, being outdoors, monkey bars, and a good challenge.” She loved trying new things and was known for never giving up, no matter what. The family says the world is “a little less bright” without her in it. The fundraisers have been set up to help the families with expenses related to the funerals and ease the financial burden of taking time off to grieve. “Your love, prayers, and kindness mean more than words can express,” the Gaul GoFundMe reads. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Nova Scotia RCMP dispute witness accounts in missing children case next post Tim Houston takes over as Minister of Energy in late-year cabinet shuffle You may also like Police involved in power pole crash while chasing... 28 أبريل، 2026 Three drivers in HRM charged with stunting 28 أبريل، 2026 كندا لا تزال تراجع خطتها لشراء مقاتلات ’’إف... 28 أبريل، 2026 كارني يُعلن إنشاء أوّل صندوق سيادي للثروة الوطنية... 28 أبريل، 2026 Manitoba man killed in Shubenacadie car crash 27 أبريل، 2026 Prime Minister Mark Carney announces Canada’s 1st sovereign... 27 أبريل، 2026 Power restored after thousands in the dark in...
