CANADAHALIFAX news Eskasoni RCMP charge two teens with attempted murder by admin 16 مايو، 2023 written by admin 16 مايو، 2023 161 By CityNews Halifax Staff Nova Scotia RCMP has charged two teenagers with attempted murder following a disturbance in Eskasoni. In the early morning hours on Friday, Mounties responded to a report of a disturbance on John Paul’s Lane in Eskasoni. When police arrived, they found six people having an altercation outside a home, two of which had baseball bats. After officers calmed the situation and dispersed the group, they found a 37-year-old Eskasoni man on the ground, suffering serious facial injuries. He was transported to hospital by EHS, as a result. As the investigation continued, officers found a 32-year-old Eskasoni man, who was suffering from a head injury but did not require medical treatment. A few hours later, Mounties arrested an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old in connection to the incident. Both were remanded into custody and were scheduled to appear in provincial court on Monday. Eighteen-year-old Gemini Paul of Eskasoni has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and uttering threats. The 17-year-old youth has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
