A piece of jewellery with significant sentimental value has been lost in Halifax.

Halifax Regional Police say it’s believed it went missing on Friday, December 16 somewhere in the areas of Windsor, Agricola or Cornwallis streets.

The engagement ring is described as having a yellow and white gold band, a peach sapphire in the middle and two diamonds on either side of sapphire.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5016 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
