Enfield man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

An Enfield man is wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant in connection to assaulting a peace officer earlier this month.

Mounties say they’ve obtained an arrest warrant after 26-year-old Colby Bond allegedly assaulted a peace officer on Jan. 18 in New Minas.

Bond is facing a slew of charges including:

• Dangerous operation causing bodily harm
• Refusal to comply with demand
• Obstructs a peace officer
• Flight from peace officer
• Assaulting a peace officer with intent
• Assault with a weapon
• Possession for purpose of trafficking
• Possession of controlled substance
• Failure to comply witha release order (two counts)

Bond is described as 6-feet, 170 lbs. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say they have made several attempts to find Bond and are now asking for the public’s help.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact Kings District RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
