A man faces multiple charges in connection to a collision in Spryfield on Monday.

At roughly 1 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Old Sambro Road. They found a 51-year-old woman, who was the driver of one of the vehicles. She was transported to hospital by EHS with what are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were seen leaving the scene on foot and fleeing into the nearby woods.

A little over an hour later, police found and arrested both people. The passenger was released without charges and turned over to EHS for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Scott Creamer, 35, appeared in Halifax provincial court yesterday to face charges:

  • Operation of a conveyance while prohibited
  • Operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm
  • Failure to comply with probation order
  • Obstruct public-peace officer
  • Failure to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm

The investigation is ongoing.
