Diesel prices to shift as energy board invokes interrupter

CITYnews halifax/ By Mark Hodgins

There’s going to be an unscheduled change to fuel prices in Nova Scotia on Tuesday night.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board(NSEB) says it will be invoking its interrupter clause at midnight to adjust the price of diesel oil.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” a statement from the board reads.

The NSEB did not say what the change would be, but did say gasoline prices will not be changed.

Fuel prices are typically adjusted on Fridays in Nova Scotia.
