Diesel and gas prices go up overnight

There has been a slight bump in the price of fuel this morning.

In its weekly adjustment, the provincial regulator pushed the price of regular self-serve gas in Halifax up by 0.7 cents, to 185.2.

However diesel didn’t fare so well, with those prices going up by 4.6 cents to 196.8.

This time last year, we were paying 1.63 for gas, while the sticker price for diesel was 1.72.
