A 24-year-old Dartmouth woman is fighting for her life after being hit by two separate vehicles early on Thursday morning.

According to the RCMP, the woman was crossing Main Rd. in Eastern Passage at about 6:30 a.m. when she was hit by a GMC Sierra and then a Honda Civic.

The woman was rushed to hospital with what police describe as life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver of the Sierra, and the two people in the Civic, did not suffer physical injuries. There was no word on potential charges against either of the drivers.

The Mounties said the investigation was ongoing.
