According to the RCMP, a Volkswagen GTI was heading west on Highway 101 in Coldbrook around 2:15 p.m. when it veered off the road. Police say the passenger, a 34-year-old woman from Dartmouth, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead in hospital. The driver, a 39-year-old Dartmouth man, suffered minor injuries.
