Police said a search warrant was executed in August 2024 which led officers to seize hundreds of documents. According to RCMP, investigators identified eight more organizations and individuals who had been defrauded by Alissa Kathryn MacGillivary. To date, Mounties said they have have found more than 15 aliases and real identities used by MacGillivary, adding she allegedly used forged documents to obtain financial benefits dating back to 1995. Last month, she was arrested at the Cole Harbour RCMP detachment and has been charged with more than 100 other offences including failure to comply with a release order, extortion, possession of forged documents and identity theft, among many others. MacGillivary has been remanded into custody and was scheduled to return to court on Friday.
