Dartmouth man charged with attempted murder in Alderney Landing incident

Halifax Regional Police have laid attempted murder charges against a Dartmouth man after an incident at Alderney Landing.

Officers were called to the popular spot just after 2 p.m. on Aug. 10 after a report of a fight.  When police arrived on the scene, they found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have now charged Scott Edward Andrew Myers, 29, who appeared in court on Monday to face the following charges:

• Attempted murder
• Aggravated assault
• Assault with a weapon
