Cumberland County man faces numerous child pornography charges

The RCMP has charged a Cumberland County man with child pornography offences.

Police say a search warrant was executed at a home in Mount Pleasant on September 11, after an “electronic service provider” told police about child pornography was being shared using their service.

Winston Kechego, 31, was arrested and charged with two counts of transmitting child pornography and three counts of possessing child pornography.

Police say Kechego has been released on conditions and is expected to appear in Amhert Provincial Court on November 4.
