CITYnews halifax : Man wanted on province-wide warrant arrested on several charges

Nova Scotia RCMP announced shortly before 10:00 a.m. Thursday that David James Bishop has been arrested after being wanted on a province-wide warrant the day before.

Bishop is from Melvern Square and is 44 years old, according to the RCMP release. He now faces the following charges as the result of his arrest:

– Various firearms-related offenses (counts unconfirmed)
– Endangering the life of any person (three counts)
– Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm (two counts)
– Uses violence to a person or that person’s property
– Mischief that causes actual danger to life
– Failing to comply with condition of undertaking

At the end of the announcement, Nova Scotia RCMP thanked the members of the public for their support in helping to locate Bishop.
