Public Health says starting Thursday, people can book COVID-19 and influenza shots. People can get vaccines from participating family doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacies and Public Health offices and mobile units. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Strang says vaccines help protect everyone through the season, and are particularly important for people at higher risk, like older people or those with chronic illnesses, and their caregivers. The health agency also says family bookings are open again this year, so people can book up to six people for a single appointment.
