RCMP called off the search on Thursday for the 31-year-old, believing he had been swept out to sea. The man went missing on Monday evening after reports he and two other men he was tubing with ended up in the river. The two others managed to make it to shore, according to the Mounties. In an update this morning, police say around 7:30 am, a body was found near where the Gold River meets the ocean. Mounties have retrieved the body and the human remains have since been tentatively identified as belonging to the 31-year-old man.
