The Mounties have made an arrest connected to a crash late last year that saw several people injured and a driver run into a nearby forest.

In October, a Toyota Echo and Jeep Wrangler collided head-on on Hwy. 102 near Miller Lake. Three people in the Jeep were injured, one seriously, and police said the driver of the Toyota fled into the woods.

The RCMP said at the time officers had received reports before that crash of the Toyota driving erratically in the Dartmouth area.

In an update Friday, police said tips led officers to a hotel on Kearney Lake Rd., where a man was arrested in connection to the incident.

Stephen Andrew Coleman, 35, now faces several charges. He’s being held in court for a court appearance on Monday.
