Police activity in North Preston as RCMP executes warrant

The RCMP is asking people to avoid part of North Preston late Friday afternoon.

On Twitter, the Mounties said officers were executing an arrest warrant for a man at a home on Amos Walter Dr.

As of 5:20 p.m., police were asking people to stay away from the area while officers worked.

They said the man was contained to the home, and officers were working to communicate with him to resolve the situation peacefully.
