In the province’s monthly COVID-19 epidemiologic summary, March saw 13 deaths which is a drop from 30 in February. Of the 13 deaths, 12 were aged 70 years and older while five were people who lived in long-term care facilities. The number of PCR positive results in March also dropped from February, from 1,641 to 1,268. Hospitalizations also dropped from 120 in February to 69 in March. According to the province, age and under-vaccination continue to be associated with severe outcomes, as Nova Scotians aged 70 or older are 29 times more likely to have been hospitalized compared to 18-49 years of age. The report says Nova Scotians who were unvaccinated or had not completed their primary series were hospitalized and died twice the rate of those who received a booster within 168 days. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post N.S. shooting report calls for police to be ‘secondary’ in public safety work next post Deadlines for key Nova Scotia mass shooting inquiry recommendations You may also like إحياء شهر التراث اللبناني من قِبل القوات المسلحة... 23 نوفمبر، 2024 أونتاريو: تشريع مقبل لحماية القادمين الجدد من الاحتيال... 23 نوفمبر، 2024 New poll shows Houston’s PCs maintaining big lead... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Cape Breton Police issue emergency alert as they... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Safety board calls for changes two years after... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Fuel prices rise across Nova Scotia 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Halifax International Security Forum begins 16th year amid... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Liberals plan to send $250 cheques to Canadians,...
