Police say on Monday afternoon, a man approached a woman wearing a hijab outside the library on Sackville Dr. and threatened her. The 21-year-old woman from Bedford was not hurt, police say. The man meantime was arrested around 2:45 p.m. after police received information from a witness and security footage. “Information gathered by investigators indicates that, although no assault occurred, the threats were motivated by hate based on religion,” police say. The man will be back in a Halifax courtroom in June, charged with uttering threats. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Woman wanted on Canada-wide arrest warrant in connection to home invasion next post Nova Scotia to offer online learning for medical lab technologists You may also like ‘Shocking’: Nova Scotia has lowest voter turnout of... 28 نوفمبر، 2024 Pair arrested in connection to illegal cannabis storefront... 28 نوفمبر، 2024 Driver injured after crashing into Clayton Park power... 28 نوفمبر، 2024 Canada Post temporarily laying off striking workers, union... 28 نوفمبر، 2024 Dermo disease detected in oyster samples in northeastern... 2024 Three tight races as counting continues in Halifax-area... 28 نوفمبر، 2024 Halifax police seek suspect in robbery, property damage... 28 نوفمبر، 2024
