Speed limit to be lowered on section of St. Margarets Bay Road

The limit will be reduced in the Head of St. Margarets Bay area

The Halifax Regional Municipality says the speed will be lowered on a section of St. Margarets Bay Road.

The limit will be reduced from 70 km/h to 60 km/h in the Head of St. Margarets Bay area.

“This change is a result of an assessment of the corridor, related to changes in conditions and activities along the roadway,” HRM says in a news release.

The municipality adds crews will be putting up new signage early next week.
