Spring Garden Road business robbed

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a Spring Garden Road business.

Police say at around 3:45 p.m., a man with a large black handgun went into the business and demanded money.

He left with cash and was last seen heading in the direction of Robie Street.

The suspect is described as white and in his late 20s.

He was wearing a red Nike track suit with white stripe down the arms and legs, a dark coloured toque, grey and black backpack, green sunglasses, and a camo style face mask.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to all police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
