A teenager is facing charges after a robbery at a grocery store Monday night.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the Sobeys on Mumford Road at around 8 p.m.
They were told a youth stole merchandise, then threatened staff with a knife before running off.
The employees weren’t physically injured and officers quickly made an arrest.
A 17-year-old will appear in youth court Tuesday on charges of robbery, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and carrying a concealed weapon.
