Police investigate after man chases group of people at park

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a man reportedly chased a group of people walking in Point Pleasant Park.

It happened at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the group was chased to their vehicle.

They got in and left. No one was hurt.

The man is described as around 6’2″ and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black trench coat, a black shirt and a ski mask at the time.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
