The Serious Incident Response Team says officers were at a Herring Cove Road apartment building for a theft/fraud investigation at around noon on Saturday, June 25, 2022. The suspect sped off and a plan to stop the suspect’s vehicle was abandoned by the officers within seconds. SiRT says the suspect vehicle drove 1.2 km before it crashed into another vehicle heading in the same direction, which was pushed up on the sidewalk where it struck the pedestrian. In addition, three people in the car that was hit by the suspect’s vehicle were taken to hospital to be treated for soft tissue injuries. “The actions that caused the injuries to the three occupants of the struck vehicle and the injury to the pedestrian are the sole responsibility of the actions and criminal behavior of the suspect operating his vehicle in a dangerous manner,” SiRT concluded. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Health Authority asks for help finding patient next post Mobile primary care clinic returning to Halifax this weekend You may also like 2026 Liberals target affordability to meet era of uncertainty... 29 أبريل، 2026 New system allows Nova Scotians to opt in... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians can now renew health cards online... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians alter driving habits due to high... 29 أبريل، 2026 Halifax improving access to recreation facilities with new...
