According to Mounties, just before 8:30 p.m. Monday, a 911 call came in from an Astral Drive home in Cole Harbour. It was reported as accidental, but officers followed standard policy and went to the home to confirm there wasn’t an emergency. When they arrived, they spoke to a man and a woman who had been in a dispute. The officers say there was damage throughout the home, along with many firearms out in the open. Police say they seized four handguns, numerous long guns including a carbine, loaded magazines, grenades, two swords, a spear, multiple knives and ammunition. The man was arrested.
