UPDATE: Halifax Regional Police say the badge that was reported lost has been found by the officer.

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a badge that has been lost.

They believe an officer lost it sometime Wednesday night.

It may have gone missing either in the area of Cole Harbour Road near Bissett Road, Bayers Road near Romans Avenue or outside police headquarters on Gottingen Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call police 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
