After receiving numerous reports of icy roads throughout the region, police are asking people to allow extra time for their morning commute due to the conditions. They say icy roads often warrant a significantly slower speed than what is posted and when roads are slippery, a vehicle’s stopping distance increases so drivers should make extra space between themselves and other drivers. As well, police say drivers should appraoch red lights or stop signs with caution and keep a watchful eye out for other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Eastern Canada to see ‘significant’ snow and heavy winds, Environment Canada says next post You may also like Manitoba man killed in Shubenacadie car crash 27 أبريل، 2026 Prime Minister Mark Carney announces Canada’s 1st sovereign... 27 أبريل، 2026 Power restored after thousands in the dark in... 2026 Liberals must show results in spring economic update:... 27 أبريل، 2026 Bayers Road blood collection clinic to reopen Tuesday 17 مارس، 2026
