That’s because a large-scale search and rescue exercise will be taking place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 5. In news release posted to social media, Halifax Search and Rescue says they’ll be simulating a rescue scenario for a paddle adventure trip. Crews will be searching land and sea throughout the harbour and on McNabs Island to locate the mock paddlers. In addition to search and rescue teams, military, police and provincial officials will all be taking part. “The goal of the exercise is to improve operational efficiency, enhance interoperability and provide a realistic training opportunity for members of the participating agencies,” the news release said. “This combined exercise will give responders from multiple agencies the opportunity to work together and hone skills that could save a life in a real emergency situation,” Halifax Search and Rescue added. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post N.S. housing bill amended after concerns by Black community over gentrification next post Halifax Regional Police search for suspect in Dartmouth stabbing You may also like راديو كندا الدولي: كبير مفاوضي كندا الأسبق لا... 30 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: كندا تدفع نحو تعزيز السلامة... 30 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Police identify homicide victim in... 30 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Paid on-street Saturday parking to... 30 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Junior sprint canoe world championship to... 30 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Damaged railway crossings due to incidents... 30 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Police call for information after man... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : N.S. invests in Cape Breton... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: RCMP take 24 unsafe vehicles off... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: UN ambassador Lametti: Canada pushing for... 29 يونيو، 2026
