Just after midnight Tuesday, Halifax Regional Police were called to South Street after someone spotted two men breaking into the parkade of a building. The suspects were gone by the time officers arrived. HRP had already been investigating several break-ins and thefts of mail with similar circumstances and suspect descriptions. At 3 a.m., officers on Young Street spotted two men who matched the description of the parkade break-in. Both were arrested and police say they seized mail they believe had been stolen.
