A man has been arrested after a robbery at a gas station Monday afternoon.

Halifax Regional Police were called to the Petro Canada on Kearney Lake Road near Highway 102 just before 2:30 p.m.

They were told a man with a knife demanded money.

The employee was not physically injured and a suspect was arrested at the scene.

The 34-year-old is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face charges of robbery and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
