Woman accused of breaking into north end homes

A woman is being accused of breaking into homes in the north end.

Just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Halifax Regional Police were told a woman was trying to get into residences in the area of Sebastian Place.

When officers arrived they found two houses that had been broken into, but the woman was gone.

They arrested a suspect on nearby Cabot Place and say she had been “carrying several stolen items.”

Natasha Danielle Kerfont, 36, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face two count of break and enter, possession of break-in tools, two counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of breach of release order.
