Anyone interested can show up at the stables on Bell Road on Mondays and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. until August 12. The Lancers say there’s no need to book ahead and they’ll try to accommodate as many people as they can, but for safety reasons, all participants must: Wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops etc.) Be able to walk up three stairs (to mount) Hold themselves upright (vertically) Wear a Lancer-provided riding helmet (disinfected between use) Small children are welcome but parents cannot accompany them into the ring so children should be comfortable with someone they do not know. There will be leaders and side walkers for safety. Events may need to be cancelled if there’s heavy rain. Haligonians can also book a free barn tour of the facility Monday through Friday this summer, and sign up for a couple of paid hands-on workshops, one on learning to groom horses, and another to learn how to effectively communicate with them. More information can be found on the Halifax Junior Bengal Lancers website. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Remaining COVID restrictions lift Wednesday next post Canadian airlines, airports top global list of delays over the weekend You may also like No charges will be laid in Halifax Transit... 19 نوفمبر، 2024 WestJet brings back Halifax to Paris summer service... 19 نوفمبر، 2024 Early voter turnout down compared to 2021 as... 19 نوفمبر، 2024 Former N.S.
