Halifax Regional Police arrived on Camden Street late Saturday night after being told gunshots were heard in the area. Responding officers found shell casings in the area and soon after, a man with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital. His condition has previously been described as serious but non-life-threatening. Police say, in another area of Dartmouth, they seized a loaded firearm from a vehicle that had been struck by bullets. Three men ages 18, 19 and 20, are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face charges of: Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose Unauthorized possession of a firearm Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition Unsafe storage of a firearm Police do not believe the incident was random and their investigation continues.
