Another win for N.S. Jeopardy! champion Mattea Roach

The 23-year-old Nova Scotian, who now lives in Toronto, has now won nearly $71,000 over her two appearances on Jeopardy! this week

The wins keep coming for a Jeopardy! champion with ties to Nova Scotia. 

Mattea Roach picked up another $38,000 on Wednesday night’s episode of the popular game show.

The 23-year-old Nova Scotian, who now lives in Toronto, has now won nearly $71,000 over her two appearances on Jeopardy! this week.

The shows were originally taped in January.

Roach graduated from the Sacred Heart School of Halifax in 2015 and now works as a tutor in Toronto. Her family lives in the Halifax area and in Cape Breton.

After her first win on Tuesday night, Roach said she’d be using the winnings to pay off her student loans.

She’ll be back in action again on Thursday night trying to extend her winning streak.
