UPDATE: Halifax Regional Police say Portland Street has reopened.

A structure fire has shut down a section of Portland Street late Tuesday morning.

Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency crews are on scene.

As of 10:50 a.m., Halifax Regional Police say the road is closed between Rodney  Road and Old Ferry Road.

Police say there are no reported injuries at this time.
