The change comes ahead of the province’s plan to lift all restrictions Mar. 21. Starting Monday, the province is making an adjustment to Phase 1, ending the current requirement to show proof of full vaccination before participating in non-essential, discretionary events and activities while other restrictions continue. Those activities include going going to the gym, restaurants, and attending sports or arts and culture events. Proof of vaccination will still be required in high-risk settings such as hospitals and long-term care homes. Halifax is also lifting its vaccine mandate for municipal employees, students and volunteers. The policy for suppliers to be fully vaccinated is also ending Monday. The now-accelerated reopening plan is to move to Phase 2 on Mar. 7, which will see gathering limits and capacity increase. The eventual goal is to lift all restrictions Mar. 21, as long as things stay on course. Last week the provincial government announced it is looking at ways to get public sector workers who refused to be vaccinated under the province’s COVID-19 mandates back to work. 11 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Children called in key details amid mass shooting (update) next post وزير الخارجية الكندية السابق لويد أكسوورثي يصف بوتين بـ”مجرم حرب” You may also like كارني يشارك في القمة الثامنة للمجتمع السياسي الأوروبي 28 أبريل، 2026 انخفاض عدد السياح الوافدين إلى كوبا بـ50% في... 28 أبريل، 2026 ’’روجرز‘‘ تعرض التقاعد الطوعي على نحو 10.000 موظف 28 أبريل، 2026 Mise à jour économique fédérale : un déficit réduit... 28 أبريل، 2026 Radio-Canada nommé 40 fois aux Prix d’excellence en publication... 28 أبريل، 2026 Baptême du feu pour les recrues de la... 28 أبريل، 2026 Liberals promising improved bottom line in today’s spring... 28 أبريل، 2026 Liberals on better-than-expected ground, plan to spend billions... 28 أبريل، 2026 Police involved in power pole crash while chasing... 28 أبريل، 2026 Three drivers in HRM charged with stunting 28 أبريل، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
