(original story below) ************************* Another Friday, another storm. A special weather statement is in effect for the Halifax Regional Municipality. Environment Canada meteorologist Bob Robichaud said a low pressure system will pass south of the province tomorrow. The snow should start falling in the Halifax area late morning or around lunchtime. “We’re not expecting any major snowfall from this particular system. It’s not particularly strong and it’s tracking far off shore,” he explained. Snowfall totals should come in around 10 to 15 cm in our area. Higher accumulation is expected to the west along the south shore. As of 10 a.m. Thursday, the forecast high for Friday is -7, which Robichaud said should keep the snow light and fluffy. That means it will be easy to shovel, but might blow around a bit, even though wind gusts are only expected to reach 40 km/h. It also could be slippery on the drive home. “I think the bulk of the snow is going to be after the commute, but it’s certainly looking like we’ll have at least a few centimetres down by 4 or 5 tomorrow afternoon,” Robichaud said. The system should move out of our area after midnight. Saturday’s forecast is calling for sun with a high of -4. 8 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Premier hopes community will come together to heal as COVID restrictions lift next post أمير تاج السر يمنح العبث الكافكاوي نكهة سودانية You may also like الصحراء الغربية في صلب محادثة بين أناند ونظيرها... 29 أبريل، 2026 رجل يقرّ بذنبه في التسبب بحريق التهم 200.000... 29 أبريل، 2026 عجز أدنى بـ11,5 مليار دولار في التحديث الاقتصادي... 29 أبريل، 2026 Liberals target affordability to meet era of uncertainty... 29 أبريل، 2026 New system allows Nova Scotians to opt in... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians can now renew health cards online... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians alter driving habits due to high... 29 أبريل، 2026 Halifax improving access to recreation facilities with new... 29 أبريل، 2026 كارني يشارك في القمة الثامنة للمجتمع السياسي الأوروبي 28 أبريل، 2026 انخفاض عدد السياح الوافدين إلى كوبا بـ50% في... 28 أبريل، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
